I LOVE IT!!!! This sounds like something I'd do on one of my bad days!

This happened to me two weeks ago....
I have been teaching my four-year-old square roots, and she'd grasped some really big numbers, so I was impressed. I thought she'd want to share her "knowledge" with my parents, so I called them up and put my little girl on speakerphone. My father answered in a groggy manner; it was after 10PM, and I hadn't realized it was getting that late. My little girl breathed heavily before finally saying, "Hello-ooo!"
Then my father said "HELLO" again, and my little girl said, "HELLO-OOO!"
This went on for a couple of times, and I spoke out saying, "Dad, just put Mom on the telephone; KayKay wants to tell you her sqaure roots."
My dad again said "Hello".
I assumed he was just aggravating us, as he often does, so I yelled out, "DAD, put Mom on the phone right now and stop behaving that way; KayKay has something to tell you!" I wasn't so sweet when I yelled this...I was worn out at this point.
Well, my dad hung up on us. That really hit me the wrong way, so I took the phone from my little girl and called right back. My mom answered, and I asked, "Why on earth did Dad just hang up on us? KayKay was going to give her square roots for today."
My mom said, "What are you talking about? Your father is right here beside me and we haven't talked to anyone."
At that moment, my mouth dropped and I looked back at my redial, and yes, I had called the WRONG NUMBER!!!
Right then, our telephone beeped for an incoming second call, and sure enough, it was the little man I'd just yelled out. I had to try and explain why I'd woken this man up with some heavy breathing, a child yelling HELLO-OOO, and her crazy mother going on about putting someone else on the line!
Yes...I realized then that I needed to speak to the people I love as kindly as I'd speak to a stranger, as we never know!

Oh my gosh, you had me really laughing here!! Thats funny!

I do this kind of stuff more and more now that I've hit perimenopause, it seems.
I was going to the Mail Stop one day and just wasn't really paying attention to the door or anything and I walked into the pool store next door instead with a very puzzled look on my face trying to figure out how the Mail Stop changed all their stuff around so quickly from the day before including the counter and the stuff in the store! It actually took me a few seconds to realize I was in the wrong place, and there were people standing around waiting for help and looked at me as if I were someone on drugs or something! I was like "oh, this is isn't the Mail Stop" and walked out.
